Quality construction..the frame is made of very sturdy rattan poles. Then different textures of wicker are wrapped & woven over the frame. Lookclosely at the picture & you will see how nice & thick the frame is. This is a table & not meant to be a seat, but is strong enough to sit on. All of the decorative rattan work is also a thicker texture than you normally see & attached the right way.
